Minister of Domestic Affairs, Dr. Emannuel Nchimbi said yesterday in Dar es Salaam that some of the suspects were found with the phone grabbed at the house of Dr. Mvungi including swords used in the alleged attack.
Responding to questions of journalists , Kova said the crime of attcking Dr. Mvungi has nothing to do with politics as evidence shows that defendants were seeking for money.
Asked the reason for the investigation of the case of Dr Mvungi harried , when there are events like the Managing Editor of New Information, Absalom Kibanda and Chairman of the Society of Physicians , Dr Steven Ulimboka in which up today Police is silent , Kova said the suspects to Dr Mvungi were found quickly due to integration of media and family.
Dr. Nchimbi explained that the issue of Dr. Ulimboka and Kibanda continue to be investigated . " In developing countries , investigation of other events taking place until three or four years and then suspects are easily arrested . "
Meanwhile, Dr. Nchimbi said in the fight against crime in the country, police officers will supply about 200 each division who will collaborate with community police fight crime.
