Information obtained soon has revealed that Wema Sepetu's father ambassador Isaac Abraham Sepetu has passed away.
Ambassador Sepetu had been hospitalized for several months in hospital in Dar es Salaam suffering from stroke and diabetes. His funeral has been arranged to take place at the late's home Sinza-Mori area in Dar.
Ambassador Sepetu served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the 1970s during the reign of the first phase under Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere .
Also, he served as a diplomat in Russia since 1982 when the same rule of Nyerere. March 27, this year, Ambassador Sepetu was appointed by the President of Zanzibar, Dr Mohammed Shein, continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment Authority of Zanzibar (ZIPA)
